Preparing Practice-Ready Nurses
Through simulations and clinical placements overseen by seasoned professionals at QCH and other hospitals, Carleton’s nursing program will provide safe environments for students to develop these skills and address the theory-to-practice gap for nurses entering the workforce.
Preparing Resilient Nurses
Mental health and resilience are critical topics within the nursing sector. Nurses need to build resilience in response to difficult situations and develop a deep understanding of the mental health challenges their patients may face. To meet this need, the program will offer a unique Neuroscience & Mental Health concentration.
